UNICOM Global announces day one support for IBM® CICS Transaction Server for z/OS V5.6

Mission Hills, CA, June 11, 2020 – UNICOM® Global has today announced day one support for IBM CICS Transaction Server (TS) V5.6, which is due for release on Friday, June 12. UNICOM Global has worked closely with IBM to ensure a smooth transition to the new CICS TS release for users of its mainframe solutions, including DumpMaster, TraceMaster, TraceMaster CodeTrack, FreezeFrame, ExpeTune, CICS-Windows and AUTOMON/RDO, available from the company’s UNICOM Systems and Macro 4 divisions. CICS TS V5.6 introduces a range of new capabilities to improve the developer experience, including a wider choice of APIs, frameworks, editors and build tools. IBM has also added new features to improve security, resilience and management.
